The Drugs in Breastmilk Helpline was set up by BfN in response to the number of calls received concerning medication. It provides support and information to thousands of families and health professionals every year. Our highly experienced and trained pharmacist offers breastfeeding support alongside evidence based information to anyone who is concerned about the effects of medication or treatments while breastfeeding. We have a dedicated helpline number, email address and Facebook page, as well as a range of information sheets on a wide variety of topics. Currently the Drugs in Breastmilk helpline service receives no external funding.

Pinter & Martin is an independent publishing company based in London and distributed worldwide. Our motto is freedom to think. While we specialise in pregnancy, birth & parenting, psychology and yoga, we also publish other subjects, but only books which are very close to our hearts. In 2015 we acquired the specialist yoga publisher YogaWords. In April 2016 we opened effraspace, a multi-purpose venue dedicated to pregnancy, birth & parenting education.

Poynton PANDAS was set up by local mums 4 years ago. “We were all struggling with parenthood in similar ways” says Rhiannon Adams. “We all needed someone to talk to who understood how we felt”. The Peer Support Group has now affiliated with the charity PANDAS and has supported around 120 families. “We know that life can be difficult when you’re a parent; the emotional ups and downs, the guilt and the exhaustion. We also know what it can be like for parents or expectant parents who are suffering from low mood, anxiety, insomnia and depression.”
